| I have done personal injury litigation work my entire career. From my experiences, your farm background will be invaluable if you went to a firm that focused upon operating engineer/construction accident and farm equipment product liability litigation. Most lawyers don't have experiences in life that help them understand accident fact patterns which, in turns, limits their ability to ask the right questions and understand the answers. While I haven't done much of it, there is also real estate-related litigation.
If you didn't want to do litigation, you could still work with farm folks in estate planning and corporate/business planning. Not something that interested me, but many do well working with it. | |
