mn | I skimmed over that article too after I posted the one above. They don't seem to deny subsidies, just dispute the amount and point out that they are not DIRECT payment subsidies.
They also point out that what "subsidy" is received is outweighed by taxes.
The same arguments used could be used for farm subsidies. Property tax outweighs direct payments and crop insurance subsidies are not a direct payment to farmers.l | |
