Frost is also melted from the bottom up. It does not have to be melted from the top down only. I highly doubt that there is 4 ft of frost in the Mn ground and if there is it is pretty rotten by now and would go out of the first rain event. I still bet that 75 % of the corn ground is planted by May 10th.
It may not be a even 4 ft through out the state by there’s definitely fields with frost that deep and maybe deeper as you get into northern MN. |
