So you want the USDA to tell you how many soybeans you can grow and be required to store any excess you have at your own expense until the government deems it fit for you to sell them?

That is the price they pay to be protected by that tariff.

What about a socialist program to prop up a product that has lost market share to high fructose corn syrup is relatable to imposing a tariff on imported products that are not even produced in the US? Like televisions.
