East Central Saskatchewan | To answer all the questions, I have Katahdin/Dorper mix mostly but over the years I have started to breed to Dorset. No special genetics. Lambs have 18% lamb grower pellets in front of them at a week or two of age if I can for free choice. They then catch on after a bit and I kick them outside with same product available. After a while I switch over to 16% ewe grower. They always have free choice to pellets and hay all day. I'll try and get a pic. It seems that each year the lambs seem to have a smaller body size but same weight from last year. Trying to get a load for Easter market now.
