| I have heard all sorts of comments about this film--none of which discussed it as being interesting. Perhaps most of my informants are biased, since they are hog farmers...
I would say as a production agriculturist, I don't believe we need to be doing anything but defending one another as we experience these misrepresentations that come from many different sources. I am sure they grossly misrepresented typical hog farmers in that movie, not much differently than they grossly misrepresent the amounts of fertilizer & chemicals that are applied to our fields.
We in production agriculture make up so little of the population that we should support each other(particularly crop farmers supporting livestock farmers since animals consume ~60% of the grain we produce), rather than assist the enemy in their efforts to turn the public against us. | |
