| My son lives in Wasilla/Palmer area. Teaches school. winters everyone works and drinks coffee, Expresso shops on almost every block. The right location can make a hundred grand a year. Summers are outstanding if you like to fish and the outdoors. Am considering the move when we get closer to retirement. A 20 minute drive can get you into some outstanding country. The locals always tell newbies to see the Great Alaskan Bush Club in Anchorage for local wildlife experiance. | |
