I agree. But, dang that barn is sweet!
With haylage as your base fermented feed add a high phos mineral with rumensin, couple pounds of corn and dilute it down with ground grass hay. Typically replace 1 pound of dry ground alfalfa with 2 to 2.5 pounds of haylage. (Depending on moisture) Make the transition over 14 days...be fine.
