Sorry to hear about the Ariats, that's what I've been wearing (2 pairs in the last 10 years) and they've always done well for me.
My son is an electrician and on his feet all day wiring mostly hog barns. He got a pair of Red Wings that seem to be holding up well at the Red Wing store in Des Moines. The Des Moines store offers free boot checkups, free cleaning and oiling, and free laces for the life of the boots - I just checked and the Omaha store does the same thing.
