bellevue iowa | If dealing with holsteins they get REALLY board. What I have done is give them a toy to play with. In my open lots I have put a fresh log in with them with one or 2 strong branches. They love it and keeps them busy when loafing. When all the bark is gone and they lose interest give them a new one. If they want to eat wood give them some. Saves the bunks and buildings.
