Central Texas , Bastrop county | I have had some problems running Vista on an HP (about 4 months old) using a KVM switch from Iomega and Logitech Mouse. It seems that Vista does not like that combination very well. My issue is that I want to be able to program the mouse buttons to suit me, but Vista will not allow that while connected to a KVM switch (at least one from Iomega) My only solution is to unplug the mouse from the KVM switch and plug it into the computer directly. Of course that meant that I had to do the same for the other computer so now I have a mouse for each of the computers. What is strange is that before the new HP computer, I was running the very same setup with a computer running XP with none of the above problems. The other computer on this setup is running WIN 98 and has not been changed for several years.
