Garden City Ks | That's what Chip said on market sell off (joke). We're stuck in this range from $3.00 to $4.40. Been in it for 3 years. One of these days it will go higher, will it be this fall on lower than expected Corn yields followed by a bullish October or January report. Will the drought in the Corn belt linger and intensify and severely limit the 2018 crops? But yeah I can see us retesting the lows. I was in South Central Ks getting a load of Corn Wednesday, a farm truck was delivering new crop Corn. The driver said this is for so and so he's got it contracted for $3.10. I thought man that sucks my basis is right now-15. I realized how fortunate I was to farm in a corn deficit area. | |
