Correct had flooding rains multiple times at the end of April/beginning of May. I was 100% planted by then. Those rains must've been enough to get us through along with the cool August. Had to replant some which I obviously haven't been in and I suspect will be a good bit lower yielding. That said, I realize I'm blest where my ancestors decided to stop the wagon.

For those who think we are crying wolf, we had a foot of rain deficit in 16 and are way behind again this year even with big late April early May rains. My yard has been dead all summer. In '12 we raised 150 bu corn which doesn't pay the bills around here at today's prices. The difference this year I guess was those early flooding rains and cooler temps.

Beans are off 10% though.
