| I just created an IMAP test account in Outlook Express...the same settings are likely available if you have POP3. To change your timeout setting, open OE, click Tools>Accounts>Mail tab at the top, highlight your mail server, click the properties button, then click the Advanced tab. About half way down will be Server Timeouts and the default setting is 60 seconds. You can move the slider to the right up to a maximum of 5 minutes. | |
