| I get tigers post, but I can see where some might take it wrong. I feel fortunate to be farming the land I was raised on but had to buy my brothers and sisters shares out. I can fully see how much "easier" life (from a finanancial standpoint) would be not having checks written to Farm Credit for land payments. Worked my whole life on the farm where I was raised milking cows, picking up rocks etc. along side my siblings for part of those years. Feel blessed to be the one carrying on the family tradition and understand Mom And Dads feelings to be fair to everyone but still think often how easy it would be to start out with no farm payments and/or machinery payments. There definitely would be a difference! | |
