North Central IL | Yeah. A lot of that corn started pollinating a month ago. A lot ("lot" being relative cuz I don't get out much) is still sitting in milk stage trying to figure out what to do next. Doesn't really matter to me how long it's been pollinated, but where it's going next. We were lucky to plant three days in April then two again that next run in May, but this is really giving me '09 jitters. Been less cloudy August days than that year tho. Sitting on a big crop if we can get it in the bins. | |
