Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I've got some later planted soybeans that greatly suffered from excess precipitation during June & July, just never could seem to get going and it might be doing everybody a favor if they got finished off by a early Sept frost because then we could just call the adjusters and save everybody sometime & effort. My corn on the other hand, looks good but needs more time & heat to finish. These 40 deg nights aren't helping.
The lesson I learned from the excess early precipitation this year is that it puts delays the crop progress and puts things behind. |
