Discourage production? I think it was in the spring of 2016 a farmer said on the radio "with these low prices I'm going to plant more Corn to makeup for the difference" I've been in the oilfield when prices tank, they quit pumping and production goes down during busts. Not in farming we'll grow our way out of it! Lol
