Subject: RE: backing up Outlook Express files?

NEND
This explains where the Outlook Express folders are located. If you google "backup Outlook Express", you will find lots of utilities that will help you do this automatically. Just a suggestion, I have always know I should backup my computer, but I got bit one time by a failed hard drive & hadn't backed up for several months. Luckily, a local place had the right utilities to retrieve my data & get me going again with a new hard drive. I told them I obviously needed an automatic backup system. They recommended a program called True Image Home by Acronis. It's real easy to set up & I have it scheduled to backup my entire hard drive over to an external hard drive every week in the middle of the night. If you are concerned about fire, you can get two identical hard drives & swap them out on a regular basis. That option requires you to setup the two drives to use the same drive letter, then the backup software won't know the difference when you swap them out.
