Just an observation. I pasture fall calvers from Nov1-May 1 on cover crops planted after cash crops are harvested. Unless we get a lot of snow or bad weather, need a minimal amount of hay. Basically I am double cropping corn and cattle then go back to beans the next year which are usually my best beans.
Windrows?
