Plenty here.

2011-2014 did not harvest more than a couple loads of wheat.

Not only do we have the occasional zero yield, but our yields are highly variable. 15-50 bu per acre wheat and dryland milo/corn that does 15-65bu is really hard to hedge. Hard to "wait and see" what we have.

Can't get crop insurance on dryland corn, so no help with harvest price adjustments.




Having said that I have sold some ahead. Even 2018 wheat which makes me look like a genius right now.
