S Illinois
No help on the current weather situation, but China has shifted a small comparative acreage from corn to soybeans. USDA projected corn production from last year to this year is expected to go from 8.64 billion to 8.46 billion. Soybeans are at 470 million to 510 million. Their soybean production is out of a total domestic consumption forecast of 3.97 bil in the upcoming year. Just for reference, IA produced 2.74 billion and 571 million or corn and beans respectively last year.
