NEMO | is similar. My yearly return to investment at 1-3%, prolly not much different than my tenant that has way more fixed costs per acre than I do. At 2% return on $7,000 land, I need $140/acre. I would expect that MANY tenants, have that or more in an acre of fixed costs? Now one could argue that I could get a bigger return in other ventures, but more risk would be involved. Most landlords are interested in less risky propositions, so CD's and Bonds would take the of place of land in their portfolio's. |
