Central South Dakota | Agree, it's complete and utter bull%$^ to be down close to $1.00 after that report in spring wheat. Cash price is $1.35 a bushel above this spring, but with the lack of bushels, but just enough bushels insurance doesn't do much of anything for you, spring wheat at this price is a total train wreck for producers.
It's complete and utter thievery what a mill can buy a bushel of spring wheat for and make on the back side in a finished product. Then tack on the multitude of discounts they can stack on in a moments notice and the deck is not stacked in a producers favor. If I didn't need it for rotational purposes, poverty grass wouldn't get grown here.
