Jesup, IA | I can claim some expertise on this. West of the green line, it's really good stuff. East of the green line, the glacier never flattened and it is more or less as rolling as the Palouse in Washington & Idaho, or at least as the Loess Hills in West Central Iowa along the Missouri River.
Traditionally, this is Iowa's dairy country. It is more or less "Wisconsin in Iowa", kind of like the bottom two rows of counties are "Missouri in Iowa".
My apologies to anyone if I put the line a mile or two off. But it's pretty close. And the distinction in the land is huge.
