A friend at lunch last week stated that a neighbor 5 miles north of me had a pit dug for a new hog confinement, on top of a hill, and they were able to make mudballs from soil 3 feet below the surface. I find that hard to believe, but my friend is a honest guy. Perhaps that explains why everything remains as green as it is today.
Do you know what was growing on that ground? If it was corn, it would surprise me too..
