Subject: Where is line between cool temps good and cool temps bad ?

"Here" cool temps mean late, wet, low TW corn. Noticed recent threads rejoicing in recent cool down, is that an Iowa thing or central Illinois? Here cool summers like 2004 and 2009 were wet, light corn and 2012 was a record high yield until 2015 and 2016 came along.
