Ne Nebraska | Dryland here I'll give 50% a 0 potential and 40% 20-50bu potential and maybe 10% could break 50 and push 70!!! I'm west just far enough tho we got more sand. Go hr east and that got lots better dirt.
As far as irrigated ground if we can keep up with water we can have great potential on hot years, just costs a lot to keep it goin. Fuel prices being lower helps a lot compared to 2012. Way it's goin we will have $100-125/ac wrapped up in fuel/electricity for irrigation. In 2012 with higher fuel I had some that cost $175/ac in fuel. | |
