NW Indiana | It isn't just about the dry areas. IN OH MI and WI all have sizeable areas that are too wet. Seems very few are happy with there stands after May weather. I choose to ignore crop ratings last year and paid the price on my marketing. If ratings continue to slip and we have say 60% g/e come early August I think the usda hand will be forced to make a descent cut on yield in the August report. Their stand counts will have to be reduced from trend. | |
