Beresford, SD | No major rain here in 40 days. Next 7 days are going to really hurt, I need every kernel I raise for feed......seriously contemplating buying enough corn to fill the bins next week. I'm afraid my own corn will be in a silage pile. Beans...........sure ain't going to get better, need an inch now to get canopy.......the heat that's coming will shrink them down pretty fast with as much soil as we have exposed between the rows. This break in corn maybe a buying opportunity in my opinion. West of us 40 miles it's toast and the dry line keeps moving east and has been since May 1. | |
