Oklahoma | It's kind of like media bias. It's not a grand conspiracy, it's out in the open. The USDA is just guessing like everyone else, and their inherent bias is "more supply and less demand". But their numbers are treated like the gospel truth of impartiality.
If you think corn has it bad, look at how bad the wheaties are taking it in the shorts today. The price just eeked above breakeven and now after a few days we are right back down to losing money. It's a damn shame as a farmer that you need to dead sprint to lock in a price where you work for free instead of lose your ass. | |
