In this little neck of the corn belt woods id say it really is that bad. 3.5 inches (give or take) for 2017 and forecast for upper 90's mid 100's into mid next week.
Corn is still green in the mornings. Don't think that'll be the case a week from now. We have an excellent chance at blowing our low rainfall record to smithereens...
