niobrara nebraska | same way up here. Up in the lynch area and west the crops are better. But down by monowi/knox county its bad. Alfalfa is done, even the sub irrigated creek bottoms are pretty much done. Crop looks good in the morning, but a pineapple plantation by noon. Firing leaves on fields now. Believe it or not our fields that haven't had the fertilizer rained in yet are holding on pretty good. Shorter and look like crap but aren't taking a lot of hurt yet. Just unreal to side dress beginning of june and not have a rain to melt it in by the 10th of july. | |
