| Both of those years had fairly dry springs for us, very dry June, then above normal rain in July and august. We did get planted a couple weeks earlier those years, but the fact we have had to do it twice has made this year seem later than it really is in the big scheme of things.
Yes I would call 2017 a fairly dry spring for us, except for a 2 week hurricane that brought 15". We did field work in March and done with corn first time by April 20, that's early for here. In the last 3 weeks since the monsoon we have only had half inch. | |
