I seem to have better luck doing smaller feedings closer together, than larger feedings further apart. I think a large feeding seems to zap too much energy out of them just to process it.
Biggest thing is getting it warm and dry. And I wouldnt be shy to feed it another small bit in the middle of the night, rather than waiting til morning.
