SC Iowa | Grazed it starting mid Nov. It was well established. They chewed it down pretty good in dry Feb and it came roaring back. I really monitor AccuWeather and dry lot them if look like rain or let it grow some.
Far as root differences, seemed like there was a bigger root ball on the intense grazed, and bigger worms. Non grazed was great too, with the top growth and maybe possible bale or chop?
On the radishes non grazed has nice big holes into ground you can go 2 fingers knuckle deep and into root zone with things. Top is laying there breaking down. Conversely on the grazed Acres the radishes are basically ground up, and the holes are less evident but still porous. They set nitrogen to so that should be nice.
Now the true test. Grow better corn on it!! Putting 10 gal 28% with first pass I think.
