I am assuming that its freezing engaged or are you having bearing problems?
Water in air supply?
Have you tried disconnecting air line, applying shop air with a blow nozzle and tapping it? I installed a new Kysor on our M11 and one year later it wouldn't disengage. I ALMOST took it off but tried this first and its worked fine ever since.
