If a drought were to occur and the crop was a total loss amd the landowner did not carry crop insurance, he or she would get 0, nothing, nadda.

That happened in 2015. PP was an unknown to this area but some well established farmers decide their insurance was good enough so they parked the planter. Land owners got nothing, next year new renter. |
