ahay68979 - 3/15/2017 07:02 Have you ever fed cattle? Cattle feeding and row crop are completely different animals. That 15-16 deal even got some 4th generation deep pocket operators. Some of these cocky sobs on here may just get taken down a tick too if things continue on this road. Whole bother animal now vs 80s. Due to how much more money we handle.




Not to inflict any pain or bad memories but that cattle market/feeder cattle prices had disaster written all over it for quite a while before it happened.    People were buying feeder cattle that had breakevens way above what the futures market was offering.


With more meat protein production coming on line in the near future cattle prices could be under another round of serious pressure.
