| Some of my 1/3 landowners market their own grain. I deliver to the elevator on their contrace under their name. Others, we sell it cash that day, when the check comes in I divide the amount 1/3, 2/3 and always provide the landowner a settlement sheet. Others I have delivered in DP contracts and they sell the grain when they see fit for their 1/3. Some landowners are former farmers and k ow how to market their share of the grain. Others landowners aren't as worried about squeezing every nickel out of their 1/3, they are just happy to get something to off set the taxes. | |
