For those that can't discern from the picture.. they had a fire about 3 miles along the side of the road.. this is looking at the top soil sitting in the ditch from the stubble field wiped clean by the fire.. when the winds return.. I assume the ditch will get blown shut.. we need moisture and some luck/good fortune.. when the winds return.. the landscape is gonna change with all this exposed soil..
