I doubt that they would be as good as a foot bath. The solution needs to get up into all those crevices of the hoof. Not sure this mat would get good coverage or get as high up on the foot.
The description says it holds 9 gallon and can do 100 cows. I recently installed a foot bath that holds 50 gallon. I have 120 cows and it lasts no more than 4 milkings. So that is about 10 cows per gallon at best. I'm not sure that 9 gallon could do 100 cows and still get good coverage, so that is something to be aware of. | |
