South central kansas | The number presented on the graph was of farm real estate taxes as a percent of total farm expenditures and NOT farm real estate taxes as a percent of costs per acre.
You are right the numbers are skewed because I would think that the average farm in the US, would only own a certain amount of the total acres they farm and so they would only pay farm real estate taxes on what they own. The rented ground taxes would of course be payed by the landlord and not the farm operator. | |
