SC Wisconsin
Kind of a long story, but I bought one off Craigslist for 400 that was used very little and then sat in the guys shed for 12 years. I needed a longer auger so I found this one sitting at a neighbor's with bad gears in the auger. I bought this one and one that was VERY old that he had sitting out back but still a Gehl for 600, I took parts off that one and scrapped the frame. This one had a good tank but a lot of corn through it and the original one I bought was in near perfect shape but the tank had a lot of pinholes. So essentially I have replaced almost the entire drive train on this one with parts from my original one and some bearings in the mill. It's not perfect, but it keeps my 70 or so head of steers fed. I don't have a clue where to find stuff like gears and such, if you take them off maybe you could have a machine shop copy them?
