Unless its something thats VERY particular, its not enough to matter, 99%of wheels get hammered down with an impact, hopefully with a torque stick but not always and its fine, if anything the lube allows it to be tightened down a little more than dry threads alone. Things like head bolts or other critical fasteners that call for some lube its best to use what they reccomend, BUT anyone will agree that something is better than nothing. |
