Don't believe everything you read. Question instead what is sustainable year in and year out. Those studies only tell you about the good times and not the bad. How many years will you have to buy hay for 350 cows vs 100. Add some n and run 170 pair and probably be ok. Expierence a long term drought and pay dearly at 350 pair.
