Same situation here, cattle ahead of schedule. We are killing 19k fewer animals this week than last and boxed beef is still down 5$. That ain't good
Packers margins have shrunk by a lot, without a jump in boxed price, I'm afraid we have a ways to slip before we stabilize here. Packers gotta get their margins in check, there will be plenty of cattle to kill. | |
