central MO | Thinking about locking in basis for the rest of my old crop corn in the bin. My local eplant has slowly improved their bid recently but I'm worried if we get a rally and grain starts moving their basis will get worse. I'm thinking about a July basis contract so I have time to catch a spring rally if something happens. Can somebody tell me why I shouldn't do it? Just can't see basis improving much more? Thanks. | |
