College based learning generally around 30 semester hrs plus 1 year actual in field under another license.
Fert and seed only require a general 6 hr course (GI-BMP) and a $25 application for license.
I assume a drone would fall under the same aerial guidelines as FAA has already identified them as aircraft.
I saw a crop plane spraying 2-5 year pines last week in N FL
