Would you happen to be using any type of steering system on your planter tractor? If so you could probably steal the GPS information you need from that receiver. I believe the requirements are going to be a GPS receiver that can output at least 5Hz and a baud rate of at least 19,200. Baud rate is not as important as the hertz rate.

A cheap ag leader 1500 receiver would do the trick and be low cost. We have used these a lot on precision planting systems. JD Starfire ITC, 3000, 6000 will all work or Trimble 162, 252, 262, 372 will work as well but he a little higher on cost.
